Support Service

Support Service

Our Support Service offers a listening ear, handles your enquiries, enables people to access therapy and signposts to other organisations, in person, via phone or email. Our Support Coordinator is the first point of contact for people with cerebral palsy and their families.

Last year we dealt with 1,798 direct enquiries covering a wide range of issues, from families wanting advice on accessible holidays, to adults in their 50s and 60s who have never received a formal diagnosis of cerebral palsy until late adulthood, and who are relieved to have found an organisation they can trust. We often receive calls from parents whose child is suspected to have cerebral palsy, are waiting on a diagnosis, or are newly diagnosed.
